This experience takes participants through the process of how everyday people, albeit affluent, are taking trips to space, aboard the New Shepard. Join the ranks of famous people like Katy Perry and Gayle King, on making the trip into space! Although current seat prices are anywhere from $500k to $1M USD, these prices are expected to decrease in the future, and perhaps space tourism will be part of your next vacation!

The experience is located at the International Spaceflight Museum. Participants begin with an orientation and putting on their spacesuit. They will then go to and up the launch tower and across the gantry to the capsule. The rocket will follow a realistic trajectory. A visual immersive experience of seeing our blue marble will precede the parachute landing and photo op.

The experience will encourage participants to think about the purpose, economics, technology, science, experience and ethics of space tourism.

Objective:
Participants will be able to experience and think about various aspects of space tourism.

Accessibility:
Orientation video has captions.
Optional audio will be included on interactive discussion polls.
Direct teleports/ride bypass will be provided for those with motion sensitivity.
