Finding credibility in animated spokespeople goes all the way back to television and film. Leveraging research literature, this presentation will discuss how trust in animated spokespeople changed into trusting information from avatars through the AI chatbots now appearing today.
Objectives:
- Participants will be able to understand the impact of spokespeople in virtual worlds for education.
