In five days, Virtual Worlds Best Practices in Education officially opens the 9th annual conference. This is the largest virtual, open source, peer reviewed, and free conference on education and virtual immersive environments globally. Courtesy of our many generous sponsors, this conference provides educators, tool developers, artisans, writers, and students an opportunity to discuss and share the latest in technology and trends that impact on education and communities of practice in virtual environments.
At 11am PST on Wednesday March 9th, we will cut the ribbon, opening up the gateway to exhibits, lectures, workshops, panels, immersive experiences and more. There are lots of things to see and do during this year’s conference.
- Walk the paths of our Exhibit Hall
- Immerse yourself in a Passport to the Metaverse
- Listen to and engage with our Keynote Speakers
- Engage in a Panel Discussion
- Network with your peers at our Quadrivium forums and Social Events
The conference is held virtually using Second Life and OpenSimulator. In addition, you can watch the festivities unfold live across three channels using LiveStream on your mobile or tablet device. If you need a registration receipt for your institution in order to attend we also provide those through our Eventbrite registration page. Registration is free; however, donations towards the conference are always appreciated.
