Above the Book is a form of expression in which a fixed melody is accompanied through improvisation. Point and counterpoint lead to a greater awareness, leading to something fuller and unique.
This year there are two Above the Book dialogues, conducted by our very own Kevin Feenan / Phelan Corrimal. These will be entirely at the Main Auditorium, no secret passes required. Questions from the audience will be taken if time allows.
On Thursday April 4th, Above the Book will be exploring what’s new at the Lab in a discussion with Patch Linden, Senior Director of Product Operations, and Grumpity Linden, Senior Director of Product.
On Saturday April 6th, Above the Book will take a look back in a conversation with Selby Evans, known as Thinkerer across the metaverse. As the namesake and first recipient of the VWBPE Thinkerer Award in 2014, we are sure he has not been resting on his laurels. Kevin will be catching up with Thinkerer, discovering exactly what he has been up to in the intervening years.
Remember, the 2019 Thinkerer Award will be presented at the closing ceremony on Saturday. We hope to see you there!
