This tour will provide an introductory preview of user-friendly Unity3D-based education and training MMO platform “in development”.
VRcampus can serve with prepackaged environments and levels of permissions, or can be user-generated content worlds.
Questions/discussion can include topics such as privacy/rebranding, content management, content creation, interactive possibilities, app integration, etc.
Note: VRcampus is derived from software originally designed for virtual reality (VR) using the Oculus Rift, and other future head mounted displays (HMD). You do NOT need a HMD to use VRcampus. It works fine on your desktop monitor, and eventually on your tablet. Also note that the interface is still in developer mode and will be customizable.

Instructions:

  • The preview environments are unmoderated and open 24/7, therefore the preview is only intended for education and training professionals, and not for students under 18.
  • Client download for Windows or Mac. Late model computer is more ideal.
  • Go to http://vrcampus.org/ and click on the link(s) to download the client software
  • Launch the VRcampus client software, name and choose your avatar, then select a room from the room list with the most people in it.
