The VWBPE 2017 Calendar is Live!
You can start planning your personal schedule for each day of the conference. When you click on a conference event and click Add to Calendar, you can add the event to your own calendar (Google+ and more). All of the conference events will be in Second Life this year, and the locations are included in the listings: https://vwbpe.org/conference/vwbpe-calendar.
This year’s academic program has some truly engaging and varied lectures, workshops, and panels, as well as new features for engaging and extending discussions beyond the virtual regions in Second Life. Not only do we have amazing keynotes and a new Above the Book feature, we also have topics in building communities, teaching in virtual environments, creativity and art, and much more. The live program will also be enhanced with special activities such as a Legacy Exhibit, a living museum to ten years of conferences, as well as a special Keys to Legacy quest you won’t want to miss. Our social program and Immersive Experiences also have lots to offer. Stay tuned for more information about exhibits!

Lots o’ luck will come your way if you join us for St. Paddy’s Day! Get out your shamrocks and join us for a wee bit of blarney and a lot of Irish cheer at this social event. Stellar DJ Coz OKelly will on hand to spin some great dance tunes and some Celtic music too. Once again he is donating his time in support of VWBPE. Wear your lucky green outfit and your dancing shoes!
We look forward to a bit of malarkey and lots of green beer on the new social sim designed especially for the VWBPE 2017 conference.

- Daylight Saving Time is now in effect for the US and most of Canada, as of Sunday, March 12. The rest of the world will ‘spring forward’ on Sunday March 26. The World Clock web page can help with planning.
