DESCRIPTION:Presenter: SmithaJosey / Smitha JoseyCo-presenter: Skattayat / Dr.Kattayat SandhyaVenue: Lecture A – The HearthThis study introduces a novel Women Entrepreneurship Development Programme (WEDP) that uses a structured blended learning training intervention to empower female entrepreneurs. The curriculum fills important skill gaps in digital literacy, financial literacy, soft skills, and motivation. It is based on a thorough Training Needs Analysis. In order to improve engagement, skill acquisition, and practical application, the study combines live interactive sessions with self-paced online learning using an evidence-based instructional design methodology. The results of the experiment show that participants’ abilities and confidence. The study emphasises how focused capacity-building programs can significantly increase women’s economic involvement and promote inclusive growth. For legislators, educators, and development organisations looking to further women’s empowerment via entrepreneurship in the digital economy, the suggested WEDP model provides a scalable and sustainable strategy.Objectives:Participants will gain strategies to empower women entrepreneurs through skill-focused training.Insights Connection:This proposal aligns with the Insights topic by revealing evidence-based lessons on how blended learning supports women entrepreneurs, moving beyond technology use.
