DESCRIPTION:Lead Presenter: DavidArguna / David Hubbard MDVenue: Inspiration BayThe Brain Exhibit on World Brain Health, Inspiration Island sim is a huge model of the human brain showing each of the brain regions including hippocampus, amygdala, frontal lobes, visual cortex, motor strip and 50 Brodmann Areas. The Demonstration permits the audience to fly around inside the brain to examine the brain areas functions and connections.Objectives:Participants will be able to identify the location of the motor strip and amygdala.Participants will be able to identify Alzheimer’s plaques in the hippocampus.Insights Connection:The purpose of virtual worlds is to become immersed in the learning experience. In the Brain Exhibit one can explore the brain anatomy from the inside, like looking at the stars in a planetarium.Accessibility: I will use a SpeakEasy HUD Tool.
